Garden Get Together, June 2021

With the easing of Covid restrictions allowing 30 to meet outside coinciding with warm weather, June 30th 2021 was the first time members of Disley & District got together since the first lock-down. We had not met since our March meeting in 2020. Despite the previous rain the roses were in full bloom and members enjoyed coffee, home-made cake, chatting and a walk round John & Margaret Delany's lovely garden. Special measures were taken to keep members safe including 2 hour sessions and lots of antiseptic wipes and hand sanitiser! Everyone went home happy having met with friends and with a free plant to welcome them back to flower club. Thanks to the committee and the Delany's for the opportunity and their hard work.
